Join
us in this dance between object and metaphor, reverence and retort
as we craft portable, variable story objects to ask and answer how
to be a visual artist in this time of upheaval and change. This
session will use playful exploration to help participants evolve
a personal visual vocabulary. We'll begin with informal found object
and image arrangements and derangements, finding resonant metaphor
as we work toward crafting story objects into toy theaters. Techniques include
transforming found and created containers with printing, painting,
texturing, cast shadow, and novel ways of attachment. |
